Summary
The South West is one of the most visited regions of the UK due to its sunnier
climate and beautiful coastlines. The region extends from Gloucestershire,
Wiltshire, Bristol and Bath to Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The South West
of England is renowned for many things, but in particular, for producing
Cheddar cheese, being home to the Eden Project, the Glastonbury festival and
Bath spa. Bristol is the largest city with shopping galore; and Bath is
famed for its Roman spa. Dorset and Somerset are much visited with wonderful
walking on the wide open space of Exmoor. Devon is popular and known to some as
‘the English Riviera’ and Cornwall is one of the most visited regions of the
UK. Cornwall has beautiful beaches, bustling coastal resorts, fishing villages
and many beauty spots.

sandy coves lure hordes of visitors to Cornwall every year. A top all-round
destination.

Georgian architecture.

Roman spa and steeped in history and culture.

Cornwall consists of Biome conservatories containing plants from the
rainforests and around the world.
Stonehenge, the great
and ancient stone circle, is one of the wonders of the world. Stay in nearby
Salisbury and visit one of the finest medieval cathedrals in Britain.
