What to see/Highlights

Oxfordshire is a tourist mecca made famous by Oxford’s academic excellence and history. Oxford aka ‘the city of spires’ is built on the confluence of the Thames and Cherwell rivers and is home to the UK’s oldest university.

Cotswolds - Towns and villages with rustic names such as Chipping Campden, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water and Moreton-in-Marsh simply ooze history and fairytale charm. Historic houses include Blenheim Palace, one of England’s World Heritage sites where Winston Churchill was born.

The New Forest is located near Southampton and has been given National Park status. It is an outstanding recreational area for walking and riding.

Brighton, this East Sussex coastal resort is often referred to as London-by-the-sea, not least because of it being within easy reach of the capital. The Royal Pavilion, built in the 19th Century for the Prince Regent resembles an Indian palace – not dissimilar to the Taj Mahal.
